Wordless Wednesday – Nature Photos – Brentwood TN

In High School I had a substitute teacher, Mr. Pennisi.  The Pennisi family ran the local fish market in Syracuse.  In the north-east fish sales were primarily a Friday thing because of the large Catholic population there.

Looking at this photo I am reminded of old Mr. Pennisi, because in his classes we suffered through the worst “fish jokes”.  The photo by Ben Larson, below reminds me of a particulary bad joke he used to tell.

He would tell us every time he substituted, “A lady came into the store and would ask”, “Do you have frog legs”  and he would reply, “No ma’am, I just walk funny.”  and we all would laugh and  groan. Still thinking about you Mr. Pennisi.

Use Your $8000 First Time Buyer’s Tax Credit for a Down Payment

The Federal Housing Administration will permit its lenders to let home buyers use the $8,000 First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit as a down payment.

Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Shaun Donovan,  informed Realtors(R) at the Real Estate Summit that the changes they have been asking for will go into effect and further help new buyers purchase a home.
